Elm Cottage lies at the heart of the beautiful and thriving village of Chelmondiston in the south east corner of Suffolk. The cottage is at the end of a 100-yard path from the road so, while being convenient for local shops and services, it is also quiet and safe for small children.

There are three good-sized bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, there is a large kitchen/family room, a cosy sitting room, shower room and utility.

Elm Cottage was built in the1850s and has just been fully refurbished. The work has been done to a high standard with a big emphasis on energy efficiency.

Chelmondiston has a good bus service, a butcher/general store, pub and Chinese takeaway. The River Orwell, another pub and a gallery/coffee shop are nearby. There's plenty to do within walking distance. You can holiday at Elm Cottage car-free, care-free and (almost) carbon-free.

Elm Cottage is owned the Fenton-Jones family. They have lived in the village for nearly twenty years and are generally on hand to answer questions and make sure everything goes smoothly.
